PT Saipem Indonesia - Saipem is a reliable international oil and gas contractors, running business in the provision of engineering and construction services for the oil & gas industry. Saipem Indonesia engaged in 2 main business units, namely Engineering and Construction, and Drilling. PT Saipem Indonesia is a local subsidiary of Saipem SpA through Saipem International BV (68.55%) and Saipem Asia Sdn Bhd (31.45%). Saipem SpA is a strategic subsidiary of oil and gas giant from Italy Eni SpA. In Indonesia, Saipem is based in Jakarta and commenced its operation in the mid of 1980s. In 2011, PT Saipem Indonesia started to operate the Saipem Karimun Fabrication Yard (Karimum Branch) at Karimun Regency, Riau Islands province and become the first international contractor for Oil & Gas investment on the island of Karimun.
